Do you remember the scene from the Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone when Dudley got stuck inside the glass cage of the boa constrictor? Well, something similar happened to a 4-year-old boy who probably took the adage where there is a will, there is a way too much to heart and ended up in a similar predicament when he was stuck inside an arcade machine when he climbed in to get the stuffed toy that he wanted. He was eventually rescued by fire department officials. A video shared about the rescue on a Facebook page and pictures of the boy stuck inside the arcade machine are going viral.
The Facebook page of Titusville Fire and Emergency Services took to the social networking site to share details about the incident. The incident took place on Wednesday at a restaurant in Florida, USA. They wrote on their Facebook, “Often times we say to ourselves that you never know what the next shift will bring. The unexpected ways we get to help people in their time of need. That’s what draws people to public safety, the unexpected. Well, today was no exception. This evening little Mason was enjoying some food and decided he wanted a stuffed animal. Fortunately the boy Mason, was not injured in any way only jilted a little bit and was rescued after only ten minutes when an off-duty lieutenant who was eating at the restaurant spotted the boy stuck inside the claw machine arcade game and got him out in no time with the help of his other teammates. The photos went viral on social media and people started responding and applauding the Titusville Fire and Emergency Services who never fail to appear on the scene wherever help and rescue operations are needed.
