Indore : Family members of a woman created ruckus at Life Line Hospital alleging medical negligence against the staff on Saturday.

Kin of a pregnant woman alleged that health conditions of the patient started deteriorating after her caesarean delivery as she was having continuous bleeding even after being operated for the second time.

Tabassum Khan, resident of Khajrana, underwent caesarean delivery on Saturday but her conditions started deteriorating soon after the operation.

“Hospital staff took her to the operation theatre again and operated her without our consent. After not getting any improvement in her conditions, we shifted her to Suyash Hospital later,” family member Jafar Khan said. He alleged that they operated the patient wrongly and operated her again but in vain. “Hospital staff was in rush to shift us to another hospital and they didn’t even take any bill from us. They didn’t even provide ambulance to the patient,” Jafar added.

However, gynaecologist Dr Aparna Jain of Life Line Hospital denied the allegation of negligence and said that there was some problem in her uterus due to which it was removed. The patient is now healthy, she said.
