Dreaming to develop your own game? There are many tools to do this. However, before developing one's own game there are some process. Game story, engine, designs and few more things. Today, I would like to discuss about how to develop a game.
First, you have to think what kind of game you want to develop. What would be the mission and story? How the game will be played? Will this game survive in market? So many questions, right? Do not worry, here are the answers below
Game story: In the very beginning you have to develop story for your game. The story should be interesting enough to attract gamers. You can develop 2D/3D game story according to your choice.
Game Engine: To develop games you need to select an engine with which the game will be developed. There are many engines such as unity, construct 2, cry engine etc. Game engines fix graphics, output sound, character moving… pretty much everything that you want in your game. Therefore, you have got to get your engines!
Assets: Assets allow you to populate your game. Elements like game characters, enemies, streetcars etc. are handy pieces that are often not found to one's liking in developer engines. These assets can be thus imported from other sources in different format such as PNG (Project Network Group), JPEG (Joint Photographic export group). If you want to develop 3D games then there are open source sites. From these sites, you can download 3D assets that you are looking for.
Background Sound: Very interesting part for any game. Background music for any game plays important role to promote game. For example: as a gamer, I am still fan of the Mario Background sound. So, think in depth before choosing background sound for your game!
Level Design:  Ahh..You played so many levels in GTA 5 or Need For speed. But, now it is your turn to design levels for your game. Level designing depends on game story. If your game is related with action then every level should increment with the increasing of actions in a way where level one could cover few enemies, level two killing more enemies with extra points and so on. If the game is a racing one then levels should relate to increasingly complex roads or increasing traffics status.
Ok, your game is almost ready. After implementing all these steps now it is time to publish. As owner, you can publish in any physical store or in any online store such as Google Play, Windows Phone or Apple.
