Mumbai, Feb 10 : Director Raj Kumar Gupta, known for helming films like "No One Killed Jessica" and "Aamir", gives freedom to the actors he works with, says newcomer Amit Bimrot.
"It was a big challenge and I was under pressure, but working with Raj Sir is like a treat for an actor. Once you get to understand him, you enjoy each and every second of the shoot. He has a great understanding and clarity of what he wants," Amit said in a statement.
"He gives complete freedom to the actors. Working with him has been a learning and inspirational process," he added.
Recalling the first day of the film's shoot, he said: "When I reached the set, I told him that I am a newcomer. He then told me to do as he says. Then I just listened to him and completed the shoot."
The actor always wished to work in a film that was a "perfect combination of sensible and commercial cinema".
"It's a blessing that I got it in my first film. I also celebrated my birthday during the shoot and that's the best memory," he said.
