Questnet promised them gold coins

The Settlement Commission headed by Justice S. Jagadeesan has appealed to victims to file petitions for any claims from Questnet, a multi-level marketing firm.

In 2008, Questnet Enterprises India Private Limited, which functioned from Chetpet, floated a scheme promising investors gold coins and collected money from thousands of people across the country.

The company was subsequently closed, leaving the investors in the lurch. Thirteen cases were registered in different police stations. Subsequently, the CB-CID took up investigation.

According to a press release from the commission, property worth about ₹192 crore belonging to the company had attached.

Many victims are yet to file petitions before the Commission. It has been decided to receive petitions from February 12 to March 12 at its office on No. 15 Kangadeeswarar Kovil Street, Purasawalkam, the release said.
