A 56-year-old man was allegedly mowed down by a truck in west Delhi’s Vikaspuri on Friday afternoon, the police said, adding that the accused driver has been arrested. Vikaspuri resident Adesh was walking with on the road with his son when the truck hit him from behind around 1 p.m. He was taken to a hospital, where he was declared brought dead. The locals caught the driver and called the police.
“Rajesh is a resident of Odisha and was arrested after he was identified by the victim’s son,” said Deputy Commissioner of Police (West) Vijay Kumar.
