Tony Puertas, Maeser Prep
The senior set two Wasatch Aquatic Pool records. His 200 individual medley win in 1 minute, 54.58 seconds was 11th fastest in Utah history and just missed the Class 3A record set in 1979. His 100 butterfly time of 52.16 was just .08 off the record set in 1978.
Keldan Guymon, Emery
The junior won the 100 freestyle and the 50 freestyle and was on two relay teams to pace the Spartans to a state team title.
Hadlee Begay, Grantsville
The freshman Begay won the girls’ 100 butterfly and 500 freestyle to help the Cowboys to a seventh-place finish.
Drew Roper, Millard
The junior celebrated her 17th birthday with titles in the 100 breaststroke and 100 freestyle.
