Bookies are offering 40-1 for the singer to snatch victory on Saturday, May 12.
But she’s confident the UK can bag glory for the first time since 1997 with her track Storm.
SuRie said: “We can win, of course we can. Ultimately it’s a song contest so it’s all going to boil down to the songs. That’s all that matters. So why can’t we win? We can!"
SuRie was picked to fly the flag for the UK in a live selection show on Wednesday night.

Critics have warned Britain’s vote to leave the EU will mean we could end up with “nul points”.
SuRie, real name Susanna Marie, has competed at Eurovision twice in the past as a backing singer for Belgium – and she’s confident Brexit won’t ruin the UK’s chances.
She said: “People will always chat about politics. But a song contest is going to come down to the songs. And from personal experience of being there among the crowds, I’ve seen no evidence of any political chatter at all. I wouldn’t lie about that.
“People don’t care about politics in that moment. Eurovision is about songs and love and all that cheese.
“The Eurovision community is full of people who are just there to have a good time and celebrate diversity and equality.
“They don’t care about other stuff.
“It’s about celebrating music and different styles and tastes.”

The Voice: Tom’s lip service
Sir Tom Jones is still a hit with the ladies – at 77.
When Olly Murs’s mum popped into the studio to check up on him she jumped at the chance to have a cheeky kiss with music legend Tom.
And Vicky-Lynn told her son Olly that even his gran would love to smooch the Welsh crooner: “My mum’s going to be so jealous!”
A red-faced Olly moaned: “Hang on a minute… that was a kiss on the lips!”
But Olly may get his own back on Tom – because he’s got a chart-topper to help him at the knockouts.
He’s hired pal Craig David to assist him in getting the best acts for the live shows.
Craig said: “I first got to know Olly on the Comic Relief Desert Trek we took part in back in 2011 and we’ve built a great friendship since then. I know he is really passionate about everyone on his team and it’s going to be a hard decision for him to choose who to put through.”
Meanwhile, will.i.am will be joined by fellow Black Eyed Peas members apl.de.ap and Taboo.
