3 Aadhaar centres temporarily shut down by postal dept

Nagpur: The postal department has temporarily closed three Aadhaar updation centres. Exact reason behind closure of the centres could not be ascertained.

Senior Superintendent of Post Offices, Nagpur City Division, in a press release issued here said, "There are three Aadhar updation centres — Grand Post Office (GPO), Nagpur City Head Office and Shankar Nagar Post Office. Due to unavoidable reason, these centres are not working. As and when the problem is solved, centres will be started as usual."


Only correction and modifications in Aadhaar cards were done in these centres. No new enrolment is not done in these centres.
