NEW DELHI. In the BJP's parliamentary board meeting in Delhi today, party president Amit Shah asked if it would be in national interest to talk about Rafale deal, reported ANI.
"A lot has been said and discussed about Rafale deal. All the main points related to the deal are in public domain. Would it now be right to discuss all components of the deal threadbare? Would it serve our national interest?" Union Minister Ananth Kumar quoted Shah as saying, after the meeting got over.

The Congress party has been up in arms against the NDA government in centre for its hesitance in making details of the Rafale deal public. The party MPs have created ruckus in parliament and accused BJP of having compromising national security while promoting "crony capitalism" and causing a loss to the public exchequer.

Congress president Rahul Gandhi has repeatedly targeted PM Modi on Twitter. He has claimed that there is a huge scam in the way Modi government procured of 36 Rafale fighter jets from Paris.

After the BJP meet today, Anath revealed how Rahul's behaviour was the topic of discussion in the gathering.

"Amit ji believes that Rahul's style of politics is undemocratic. He is responsible for the heckling and disruptions that happened during PM Modi's speech in Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha," Kumar said.
