Half of Norwegian electricity customers have smart meter at end-2017

Norway's Water Resources and Energy Directorate, NVE, says that half of all Norwegian electricity customers had a smart meter by the end of 2017, with 98 percent of installations going to plan. This means there are now 1.6 million smart meters in the country. NVE said most operators believe that all their customers will have a smart meter by 01 January 2019.
