NHPC organizes Free Medical Camp
Under its CSR-SD Scheme, NHPC Limited, India’s premier hydropower company in association with Department of Health, Faridabad, Batra Hospital, Delhi and ICARE Hospital, Noida organized a free medical camp at Bhim Basti, Sector-18, Faridabad on February 8, 2018. The camp was inaugurated by SR Roy, Executive Director (Geology) and SK Jain, Executive Director (CSR), NHPC in the presence of Dr Kamla Fartyal, General Manager (Medical Services), NHPC. Amitabh Srivastav, Chief Engineer (CSR), Dr RS Rathi and Dr Rakesh Ranjan from NHPC, Incharge Medical Officer, Urban PHC, Bhim Basti, Sector-18, Faridabad, Dr Savita Bhutani, Eye Specialist Dr Mannani from I-care Hospital, Noida and Dr SS Arora, Physician, Dr Nabjeet Talukdaar, Cardiologist, Dr Anil Lakhande, Ortho, Dr Nomita Gupta, Head of Paediatric, Dr Reena Jain, Gynaecologist, Dr Sanjay Jain, ENT Specialist and Dr Poonam Varshney, Dermatologist from Batra Hospital,Delhi alongwith Social Activist of Ward No.29 Vinod Bhati were also present in the occasion.

ONGC Videsh received the The India Risk Management Award instituted by ICICI Lombard & CNBC-TV18 in the category Best Risk Management Framework and Systems - Risk Technology. CISF enteres into an MoU with ITDC
A function was organised at CISF HQrs, New Delhi on the occasion of signing of Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between CISF and Ashok Travels & Tours (ATT), a division of India Tourism Development Corporation Ltd (ITDC), New Delhi, for providing single platform for booking of airlines tickets & Railways ticket during official journeys. The MoU was signed by Piyush Tiwari, Director (C&M), Ashok Travels & Tours (ITDC) and BSN Reddy, Assistant Inspector General, CISF, in presence of Alok Kumar Pateria, ADG(HQrs), CISF and Ravneet Kaur, IAS, Chairperson and Managing Director of ITDC.
NORTHERN RAILWAYs briefs media on its action plan
General Manager, Northern Railway Vishwesh Chaube on Thursday held a Press-Conference at Northern Railway Headquarters Office, Baroda House, New Delhi to brief media about the action plans of zone. The Principal Heads-of-Departments were also present on the occasion. As Northern Railway gears to fulfill rail projects and passenger-centric initiatives laid out in the Budget 2018-19, Chaube laid out the broad statement of action plans and financial statement of the zone. Taking an over-view of the varied scenario of the Railway vis-à-vis the previous year, Chaube pointed out that Capacity enhancement shall be a targeted goal and the zone has increased the capex for new lines by 63%. The total outlay for new rail lines and double line projects at Rs 3896.29 crore is envisaged to bring enhanced and quicker connectivity in the region served by the zone. Enhancing the outlay for road safety works like ROB/RUB/LHS, the zone has earmarked a total of Rs 537.48 crore. For greater modernization and safety, the zone has also increased the allocations for new signaling systems with a noteworthy 93% increase. The other earmarked thrusts of the year include targeted projects for upgradation of traffic facilities, track renewals, electrical & track distribution works.

The Vice Chancellor of the University Prof Anil Kumar Tyagi presided over the function. Pro - Vice Chancellor of the University Prof Pushplata Tripathi, Registrar Satnam Singh, Controller of Finance SK Tanwar and other senior faculty members and officers of the University were present on the occasion. According to Director - Students Welfare of the University Prof CS Rai, apart from the University campus, thousands of students of affiliated colleges are actively participating in this three - day mega cultural conclave. More than three dozen cultural programmes are scheduled in all three days of the festival. ‘Nasha’ band with lead singer Akhil Sachdeva performed in the evening on Thursday. Singer K.
