‘Advita’ held at Sarojini Naidu Girl's College

Some were seen involved in face-painting while some showcased their creativity in colourful rangoli. Some students revealed their love for cooking and some students portrayed the hidden musician in them. The Brides of India fashion show took away the hearts of audience.

Marking the third day of annual day ‘Advita’ being held at Sarojini Naidu Government Girl's College the students showcased their talent here on Thursday. Various competitions were organized in the college like face painting, solo singing competition, fashion show and event the traditional day.

Some fun filled activities like antakshari were also held on the D-day.  On the occasion of traditional day in the college, the students wore colourful Indian dresses that left everyone mesmerised.

In the face painting competition, the students painted various forms of nature with beautiful colors and artistic form. In face painting competition first prize was bagged by Neelu Raghuvanshi, second prize was won by Safalta Ratnakar and third prize was won by Sakshi Jain.

In the group singing, the songs of inspiration, folk songs, Chhattisgarh, Rajasthani were performed. Under group singing competition songs like Mile Sur Mera Tumhara were presented beautifully on stage. In group singing competition first pize was bagged by Amisha Malviya Group, second prize by Manasi Parihar Group and third prize by Seema Parihar Group.

Sufi singing, singing of bhajans and ghazals performed by the participants was commendable. Besides in solo singing competition first prize was bagged by Amisha Malviya, second by Sonam Omkmari and third by Seetu Kumari.

The eye catching show of the day was fashion show Brides of India. The students were beautifully dressed as Rajasthani bride, Goan bride, Kerala bride, Orrisa and from other states as well. The students splendidly showcased the colourful cultural traditions of India.  The In the Indian Bride Decoration, artistic and attractive presentation of the adornments and cultural traditions of the bride in different states.

The first prize was won by Zainab Sohail who represented Goan bride, second prize was won by Anushree Shrama who was dressed up as Kerala bride and third prize was bagged by Ayushree Dubey and Ishita Lal.
