US President Donald Trump and his wife Melania could have further cause to fall out after one of his lies about her engagement ring was exposed.

The Donald’s relationship with Melania has come under the microscope after allegations he had an affair with porn star Stormy Daniels, shortly after their son Barron was born.
Although the billionaire businessman and the White House has denied these claims, Melania was said to be completely shocked by them.
Since the claims came to light, the President and First Lady have only been seen in public together on one occasion, where Melania appeared to bat Trump’s hand away

And the stunning brunette could have further cause for concern, after it has been revealed that Trump lied about the price of her engagement ring.
In 2005, when she was Melania Knauss, the billionaire businessman claims to have been given a $1million discount on her emerald 10 carat ring.
Trump said at the time: “Only a fool would say, ‘no thank you, I want to pay a million dollars more for a diamond.”

But a source with direct knowledge of the purchase has categorically denied this happened

Graf CFO Nicholas Paine added that Trump had been “a pleasure” to do business with, but he had not been given any special treatment.
He confirmed: “We don’t sell items for publicity value.”
