A 35-year-old Milton woman faces several drug charges following a three-vehicle crash on Adams Street Wednesday night, police said.
MILTON − A 35-year-old Milton woman faces drug charges following a three-vehicle crash on Adams Street Wednesday, police said.
Katelyn Simone is charged with operating under the influence of alcohol, operating under the influence of drugs, possession of oxycodone with intent to distribute (subsequent offense), possession of heroin with intent to distribute, possession of cocaine (subsequent offense) negligent operation of a motor vehicle and a marked lane violation. She was held overnight at the Milton Police Station for arraignment on the charges Thursday in Quincy District Court.
Milton Police said in a statement that Patrol Officers Joseph Fahey and Michael Mason responded to the crash in the 600 block of Adams Street at 10:26 p.m. Simone's vehicle had crossed over the double yellow lines and struck two vehicles.
While investigating and processing the crash, the officers discovered 73 oxycodone pills and powdery substances believed to be cocaine and heroin, police said.
