PYEONGCHANG, South Korea, is the host city for the 2018 Winter Olympics.

It is the first time that the Winter Olympics have been held in South Korea, although Seoul hosted the Summer Olympics back in 1988.

The first few events actually take place today, but the opening ceremony will be staged tomorrow, and the competition runs for just over two weeks, until 25 February.

There will be 102 events in 15 disciplines, including bobsleigh, curling, figure skating, ice hockey and snowboarding.
