Jennifer Garner returning to the small screen

Actress Jennifer Garner will be returning to the small screen, starring in her first TV series since wrapping up the hit show 'Alias' back in 2006.

Garner will star in a new limited series called 'Camping' on HBO, produced by 'Girls' creator Lena Dunham.

The story is adapted from the British series of the same name, and will follow Jennifer as a controlling mom who takes her family on a camping trip to celebrate her husband's birthday.

There's no word yet on when the eight episode dark comedy might premiere, nor any other casting news, but it's reportedly set to begin filming this spring.

In the meantime, fans of Garner can look for her in the coming of age movie 'Love, Simon', arriving in March.
