AT&T buys wind power megawatts, joins WWF's REBA

AT&T has bought an additional 520 megawatts of wind power through two agreements with NextEra Energy Resources, LightReading reported. AT&T also announced its was signing onto the Corporate REBA (Renewable Energy Buyers) Principles. The REBA group, led by the World Wildlife Fund (WWF), is made up of large energy buyers pledging to work to advance and buy renewable energy. The group has more than 70 US corporations as members, including Google, Microsoft, Amazon and Facebook, and data center operator Digital Realty. Cox Enterprises is the only network operator currently listed as a member. 

AT&T joins T-Mobile US and Telefonica in pushing renewable energy.
