Telekom to allow customers to downgrade DSL tariffs after 6 months - report

Deutsche Telekom has added a new option to its Magenta At-Home tariffs that allow customers to rebook their internet package to a slower DSL tariff after 6 months, reported DSLweb.de. Customers can test out a higher Magenta DSL tariff for 6 months and then switch to a slower, less expensive tariff for the seventh month onward on the condition that the 24-month minimum contract is reset, they added.
