Survey Finds Couples Are Getting Really Bored With Valentine's Day

Valentine’s Day is around the corner and let’s face it we all aren’t planning on getting caught out in the rain a la The Notebook or reenacting Dirty Dancing.

But that doesn’t mean you should go with the tried and true.

Groupon surveyed 2,000 people in relationships and found more than half of us do the same thing every year!

One in four, described these traditions as boring.

Turns out, not everyone is looking for something that smells, tastes, or looks good. 80% say sharing an experience with their partner is key to a perfect Valentine’s Day.

The top experiences people told Groupon they’d like to try included attending a concert, getting locked in an escape room, touring a cultural attraction, and taking a cooking class.

I don’t know about getting locked in a room with my significant other though, that sounds like a fight waiting to happen.

But there is one room people are interested in on Feb 14th, the bedroom. 68% of people in a relationship want to have sex on Valentine’s Day.

But if you’re not in a relationship, maybe you can pull a Tiffany Haddish..and find a couple like the Smith’s to take on a New Orleans swamp tour.
