McLaren Extends MSO Personalization Options For Sports Series Cars

McLaren Sports Series customers can now add more MSO Defined options to their cars in the form of a new Black Pack, a Titanium SuperSports Exhaust, and more.

The full range of new MSO Defined options includes the Black Pack body features, Extended Carbon Fiber Sill Covers with McLaren branding and the choice of either Black or McLaren orange ignition keys. The aforementioned custom exhaust system is available for the 570S Coupe, 570GT and 570S Spider, and is 5 kg lighter than the standard exhaust.

The new titanium exhaust option also offers a “cleaner, crisper tone” according to MSO, peaking at 5db louder than the standard-fit item in Sports Series models. The Titanium SuperSports Exhaust is priced at ยฃ4,750.

The Black Pack on the other hand is meant to give buyers the chance to replace standard Dark Palladium grey components with black ones. The pack covers the front splitter, front aero blades, side skirts, side air intakes, door inserts, rear diffuser, rear spoiler and rear bumper. The 570S Coupe can also have its waist finisher, rear deck and service cover painted black. Separately, customers can spec a Nano Black Exhaust Finisher for the otherwise Nano Clear one found on the new Titanium SuperSports Exhaust.

Last but not least are the MSO Defined Extended Carbon Fiber Sill Covers with McLaren branding in satin finish Visual Carbon Fiber, for the 540C, 570S Coupe, 570GT and 570S Spider.

“The MSO Defined option range from McLaren Special Operations allows McLaren owners to personalize their cars by selecting from a portfolio that is tailor-made for each McLaren Series and so perfectly complements their vehicle,” said MSO managing director, Ansar Ali.

“With the 570S Spider now available and customer interest in our Sports Series continuing to grow, these new MSO Defined products provide even greater choice and opportunity for customers to create their own special McLaren.”

Some people’s (twisted) idea of free speech is to insult, belittle, attack and curse as often and as much as they want, because, you know, this is the internet and they can hide behind anonymity without worrying about real life consequences. Other people’s idea of free speech is to spam our discussions with their own (unrelated) personal agendas and toxic comments.

Guess what; freedom of speech doesn’t give you a free pass to be a jerk and say whatever the heck you like with no respect for others. Free speech is protected by the First Amendment here in the States, but it wonโ€™t (legally) protect you if you slander or lie under oath, nor if you walk by someone and tell them to flip off…

Hey, I was joking about the “RIP FREE SPEECH” part. It has nothing to do with the First Amendment or whatever other free speech laws around the world – they don’t apply here. It’s your site and you can do whatever you want to do, without giving any kind of explanations to anyone ๐Ÿ™‚

But on the other hand, you’ve been absent a loooong time, and our cries (justified most of the times) were left unanswered, so… I mean, even a “it brings a lot of views, so deal with it” explanation would have been fine and we would have accepted it ๐Ÿ™‚

Well, it was only a matter of time. Why let the Super Series and Ultimate Series get all the attention?
