Schoolboy found dead in Noakhali

Noakhali: Police on Friday morning recovered the body of a schoolboy from a paddy field at Ahmedpur village in Senbagh upazila.

Dead Abu Shaker Shaheen, 15, was a class IX student of Kabilpur Hazi Maksudur Rahman High School. He was the son of Murshedul Alam, a resident of Moizdipur village in the upazila.

 

Officer in-Charge (OC) of Senbagh Police Station Harun-or-Rashid confirmed the matter.

 

Local people spotted the body in the morning and informed police. Later, police recovered the body around 10.30 am, the OC said.

 

Injury marks were found on the head and body of the dead, he added.
