Reader's View: Don't replace classic literature

As reported by the News Tribune Feb. 7, Duluth schools are removing from classrooms the classics "The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn" and "To Kill A Mockingbird."

What? Is that perhaps so that youngsters can fill their minds with today's lesser literary icons like Stephen King and Judy Blume and their nonsensical claptrap?
