Sky is offering significant discounts on its fastest fibre broadband packages, bringing the tarrifs in line with last year’s Black Friday sales.

New customers can sign up for the 38Mbps broadband packages for £25, or get max speeds of 76Mbps for just £30 a month. You can expect average speeds of 34Mbps and 57Mbps respectively.

Sky is handing out a £50 pre-paid MasterCard as a sweetener, but that’s wiped out by the £59.99 one off set-up fee.

The contract length is 18-months and you’ll be paying £38.99 and £43.99 thereafter (via ISPreview).

For your investment you’ll get a Sky Q hub as well as included Sky Talk landline rental and all of the usual anti-malware and security gubbins.

Of course this is the Fibre To The Cabinet (FTTC) boardband rather than Fibre To The Premisis (FTTP), but the speeds are pretty reliable.

Sky also emerged atop of the least complained about ISPs in Ofcom’s latest report, so you’re less likely to be highly annoyed by the inefficiency.

The offer lasts until March 29 so get in there while the going’s good.
