Research Fellow positions are available to work on a collaborative project between International Centre for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology (ICGEB), New Delhi and Revised National Tuberculosis Control Program, New Delhi

Senior Research Fellow:
To carry out molecular and Omics studies of clinical samples

Educational Qualification of Applicants: Master’s degree in life sciences, with 2 years research experience in microbiology, infectious diseases, clinical sample handling; desirable candidate will have experience in diagnosis of Tuberculosis by culture and molecular methods, isolation of DNA, proteomics or related studies.

Emoluments: (as per DBT guidelines): Rs. 28,000 p.m. + 30% HRA Appointment will be initially for 6 months, and extension will be based upon performance of the applicant and funding support from DBT.

Junior Research Fellow: To carry out molecular characterisation of Mycobacterium tuberculosis and related experiments at ICGEB.

Educational Qualification of Applicants: Master’s degree in life sciences; candidates with research experience in Molecular biology, microbiology etc. will be preferred.

Emoluments: (as per DBT guidelines): Rs. 25,000 p.m + 30% HRA Appointments will be initially for 6 months, and extension will be based upon performance of the applicant and funding support from DBT.
