Tata Communications quarterly EBITDA grows 12%

Indian operator Tata Communications (Tata Coms) posted consolidated EBITDA growth of 12 percent year-on-year to INR 6.12 billion in the three months ended 31 December 2017. Data business revenues improved by 6.8 percent year-on-year. Revenues from data businesses contribute to 70 percent of the overall revenue and 88 percent to the EBITDA. Third-quarter consolidated profit after tax reached INR 100 million. The operator also saw a growth of 38.5 percent in its growth services portfolio which now contribute to 20 percent of the data business revenues.
