Skyjack SJ85AJs arrive in Oz

The first 85ft Skyjack SJ85AJ articulated boom lifts have been delivered to customers in Australia.

The first two units were purchased by New South Wales based Botany Access after managers from the company checked it out at Vertikal Days in the UK last year. The largest articulated boom in the Skyjack range, it offers a working height of 27.7 metres with up to 17.1 metres of outreach at up and over height of 10.4 metres, while the articulated jib has a range of 125 degrees. The company has also added more 26ft Skyjack SJIII 3226 slab scissor lifts.

Botany service manager Dave Wright said: “Skyjack’s service and support is always on the ball and the machines’ reliability is second to none. We saw the SJ85 AJ at Vertikal Days and with its dual capacity, EasyDrive, and SpeedyReach features, I knew this was a product that our customers would want to hire.”

Managing director Justin Brownbill added: “With our expansion across the east coast we need to partner with manufacturers who can support our growth and give us the service we need.”
