Jammu, Feb 9 : Opposition National Conference (NC) legislators on Friday disrupted the state Assembly demanding a statement from Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti on cross-border firing on the Line of Control (LoC) and the International Border (IB).
They protested against death of a woman killed in a Pakistan ceasefire violation in Mendhar area of Poonch district on Thursday.
The members sought the Speaker's intervention asking Mehbooba to make a statement on the continuing shelling and firing on the borders.
