Dhawan will be the 34th player to reach 100 matches for India in ODIs.

o Dhawan’s average has increased in the last 24 matches.
o Dhawan’s innings/50+ has increased in the last 24 matches.
o Dhawan’s fifty-plus count has increased in the last two blocks.
o Dhawan’s conversion rate has decreased in the last 24 match block.
o Dhawan’s Balls/Boundary has decreased in the last 24 match block.
Dhawan has been in superb form in the ongoing ODI series.
He has scored 162 runs in 3 matches at an average of 81.00 with a strike rate of 109.46.
The opener has been providing India with good starts and has also compensated for Rohit Sharma's ordinary form.
Dhawan has had solid partnerships with Virat Kohli which have taken the game away from South Africa.
Kohli also credited Dhawan for helping him ease into the innings, "When Shikhar Dhawan is batting, my job is to take singles and keep rotating the strike, to be able to get the partnership going. When he gets out I start to accelerate," the skipper said.
