A 58-year-old woman was injured when another driver cut in front of her on Wednesday evening, police said.
BROCKTON — A city woman was injured Wednesday evening when she was cut-off by another driver, police said.
Officer Richard Colon responded to the area of 1717 Main St. for a report of a two-vehicle head-on crash about 6 p.m.
When he arrived on scene, he reported that both vehicles were "totaled" and one of the drivers was injured.
A 58-year-old woman who was driving a 2002 Jaguar sedan told police that she was driving south on Main Street when the other vehicle, a 2000 Honda sedan, pulled in front of her, according to police Lt. William Hallisey.
The driver of the Honda, a 29-year-old Brockton man, told police that the other woman pulled in front of him as he was driving south on Main Street.
But the officer determined the driver of the Honda had attempted to turn onto Longworth Avenue and struck the Jaguar.
"The officer determined it was clear that the woman was the one driving down Main Street when the man cut in front of her," Hallisey said.
The woman, who suffered minor injuries, was taken by ambulance to Signature Healthcare Brockton Hospital.
The man, whose identity wasn't released, was issued a citation for failing to grant the right-of-way.
