UP Investors’ Meet: Industrialists from Kanpur, Unnao propose over Rs 3,000 cr investments
Industrialists from Kanpur and Unnao have proposed to invest over Rs 3,000 crore for promotion of industries during the investors’ summit to be held in Lucknow on February 21-22.

Industrialists from Kanpur and Unnao have proposed to invest over Rs 3,000 crore for promotion of industries during the investors’ summit to be held in Lucknow on February 21-22, state urban development minister Satish Mahana said.
Mahana The industrialists conveyed their decision during the investors’ roadshow organised by the minister on Wednesday.
According to national president of the Indian Industries Association (IIA) Sunil Vaishya, the industrialists who offered investments included MKU group (Rs 1,000 crore), CPP Films (Rs 600 crore), Plastypack Limited (Rs 200 crore), leather industrial park (Rs 100 crore), Super House Group (Rs 85 crore) Kudarat Hotels (Rs 27 crore) and Kapila Krishi Udyog (Rs 10 crore).
“Rimjhim Ispat (Rs 250 crore), Jai Jagdamba Metals (Rs 235 crore), Karan Frozen (Rs 24 crore) and Eco Fevicon (Rs 35 crore) have proposed investments in Unnao,” he said.
Other industries include paper polymer (Rs 100 crore), packaging industry (Rs 25 crore), hosiery products (Rs 40 crore), plastic products (Rs 25 crore), food processing (Rs 15 crore) and homeopathic medicine sector (Rs 14 crore).
Managing director of the Frontiers Springs Kapil Bhatia said his company would take up construction of HLB coach for high speed trains. “If the company gets industrial land as per its requirement, it would start work,” he said.
The new owner of LML Rohit Agarwal said new motorcycles and scooters at par with latest technology would be maufactured to restore the glory of the city in the field of scooter manufacturing.
On this occasion, Mahana assured the industrialists that the government would look into the problems faced by them.
