Sports Meet begins with inauguration of Maryland Village Playground

Imphal, February 08 2018: Th Joy Lamkangna, Vice Chairman, ADC Chandel yesterday inaugurated Maryland Village Playground at Maryland Village under Machi Block, Tengnoupal district.

The 13th NSA (Northern Sports Association) Sports Meet also began along with the inauguration of the playground.

Villagers from 7 villages of the district namely, Konaitang, Parengtong, Thamlai, Heinoukhong, Wabaching, Maryland and M Ringpam village will be competing in the football, handball, long-jump, 800 m distance race and sepak takraw events of the sports meet which will continue till February 10 .

The inauguration of playground and the sports meet was attended by Th Joy Lamkangna, Vice Chairman, ADC Chandel as chief guest, M Morungson, Member, ADC Chandel who is also the president of NSA as functional president and Ch Meshil, Member, ADC, Chandel as guest of honour.
