MANILA, Philippines — The Bulldog Big Event six-cock derby unfolds today with more than 150 fights on tap at the Pasay City Cockpit.

Rep. Patrick Antonio, fresh from his victory in the 2018 World Slasher Cup nine-cock invitational derby, banners the field in the event hosted by Mayor Francis Espiritu and Danny Bulldog and backed by Sagupaan Superfeeds and Complexor 3000.

Other top breeders fielding in their respective aces are Jun Soriano, Magno Lim, Dorie Du of Davao, Charlie Ang, Gerry Ramos, Boy de Roca, Ed Miranda, Jay Nalupta, Johnny Santos, Arman Santos, Frank and Greg Berin, Mark Aguas and Teng Ranola.

Meanwhile, the Happy Birthday Mam Rhona four-cock derby will be held on Feb. 16 with Rhona Bullecer of Rizal as host while the Luzon Gamecock Breeders Association (LGBA) derby circuit kicks off Feb. 19, 23 and March 9.
