Venter back to lead Cheetahs in Cardiff

Cardiff - Cheetahs coach Rory Duncan has named his team for their PRO14 clash against Welsh side Cardiff Blues at the Arms Park on Saturday (21:35 SA time).

Springbok centre Francois Venter returns from injury to lead the Cheetahs in their first game on tour.

Speedster Malcolm Jaer is included on the bench and will make his PRO14 debut if he gets game time.

Up front, flank Paul Schoeman will reach the milestone of playing his 50th match for the Cheetahs.

Next week, the Cheetahs will be travelling to Scotland where they will face Conference A log leaders, Glasgow Warriors, in Glasgow. (Friday, February 16 - 21:35 SA time). 

They will then fly back to Wales to conclude their tour with a match against the Ospreys. (Saturday, February 24 - 19:30 SA time).

The Cheetahs are currently third in Conference A of the PRO14, having won eight of 13 games.
