Neeraj Pandey's Aiyaary has finally managed to rise above its barriers, and has received a 'U/A' certificate from the CBFC. And now, if these reports are any indication, this arrangement was done because Aiyaary has touched upon the Adarsh scam.

The film is set at an Army backdrop, and has Manoj Bajpayee, Siddharth Malhotra, Anupam Kher playing important roles. The story-line will see the officers taking charge of corruption in the system.

As soon as Neeraj received the certificate from the Censor Board, he took to Twitter to announce the same. "Finally... this just arrived. All cleared for 'Aiyaary'... Thank you CBFC India. Thank you MOD. See you on February 16 in cinemas near you," he wrote.

Not only Neeraj, but Manoj Bajpayee too expressed his happiness on Twitter. "That's a green light for 'Aiyaary' with no more pit stops along the way! Thank you CBFC India and MOD," he wrote.

"Yes ! #AiyaaryGetsCensorCertificate happy to see it trend ! Coming on 16th FEB now #AiyaaryOnFeb16 !" wrote Siddharth.

Adil Hussain who too will be seen as an Army officer in the film Tweeted, "Hmmmm Finally got Cleared! Wah! So now it's releasing on the 16th February."

Aiyaary will hit theatres on February 16. The film also features Naseeruddin Shah, Rakul Preet Singh and Pooja Chopra in pivotal roles.
