ETAuto reported that with an aim to increase market share, Hero MotoCorp unveiled two models in the fastest growing scooter segment as well as a bike in the premium segment. The Duet and Maestro were unveiled in the 125 cc segment with an aim to cover 99% of the scooter segment.

The scooters are based on their respective 110cc models while gets some minor new design elements which make them looking a bit more premium.

The Hero Duet 125 gets some chrome garnishing along with some minor body tweaks. The features, on the other hand, remains the same as in the 110cc version.

Also, not wanting to miss out on the growing trend of adventure riding in India and global markets, the company unveiled the Xpulse200 four months after it showcased it at Milan.

Mr Pawan Munjal, chairman of Hero Motocorp said that "We will continue to enhanced focus this year on two rapidly-growing segments - premium motorcycles and scooters."
