There’s a new spot to quench your coffee cravings and soothe your smoothie thirst coming to Harbison. Steam & Ice is set to open in the next month at 275 Harbison Blvd., in the same shopping center as 2nd & Charles.

Offering a “modern twist on classic drinks,” the menu will feature hot and cold beverages — steamed and iced coffees, smoothies, teas, fruit-infused teas and lemonades — and milkshakes topped with cotton candy. You can even make your own “Master Mix” shake with your choice of ice cream, candy, sauce or pure organic fruit (strawberry, peach, mango, raspberry, pomegranate, blueberry, pineapple, pear and lemon).

Beverages will be served in custom designed bottles, and glassware and takeaway containers will be available for sale separately.

Owner Nedra Brown says the crew is currently undergoing training and should be ready for service in about four weeks.
