Mick Balogh provided pictures from the recent Polar Plunge at Wolf Run Park in Noble County. "There was a whole lot of love, equally as much generosity and a good bit of fun. The air temperature was 46 and the water temperature was 32 while the ice temperature was 24 so that water wasn't getting any warmer!" Balogh noted. "The ice was 8-10 inches thick so it was quite safe. Many thanks to all the volunteers, observers and participants." This year’s Polar Plunge, the fifth annual, will aid Layla and Conner Wilson, the children of Kayla and Keith Wilson. Helping with the event were the Noble County Dive Team, United Ambulance and the Noble County Sheriff’s Department.
