Fasching Party

The ladies Sodality of Corpus Christi Catholic Church is planning a Fasching Party from 5-9 p.m. Feb. 10 in the Church Hall. There will be a DJ playing German music as well as other music for your dancing pleasure, homemade food including German Bratwurst and Knackwurst from USINGERS of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, sauerkraut, red cabbage, German potato salad, pumpernickel bread, apple cake for dessert and coffee, iced tea and lemonade. Concert at Village Baptist

Karen Peck and New River, a five-time Grammy Award nominated and six-time GMA Dove Award winning southern gospel group, will perform at 6 p.m. Feb. 18 at Village Baptist Church in Destin. The concert is free with a love offering to be taken. Doors open at 5 p.m.

The group has had more than 18 number one hits. Peck’s soprano voice has made its way into the hearts of Gospel Music lovers across the country.

WinterFest 2018

WinterFest is the coming together of the vocal ensembles of Destin United Methodist Church for an afternoon of inspirational singing from 3-5 p.m. Feb. 25. And as a special addition this year, Follies, presented by Destin School Of The Arts, will be previewed. They will present the big show in May.

The Point

A program for those in their 20s and 30s, The Point, a new young adult's program, meets from 6:30-8 p.m. the second Tuesday of each month for dinner and worship and the fourth Tuesday for an activity in the city.
