Swisscom appoints representative at Cloud Foundry Foundation

Swisscom appointed Jorg Wagner, VP Cloud, as its representative at the Cloud Foundry Foundation, an independent non-profit organisation formed to sustain the development, promotion and adoption of Cloud Foundry as the industry standard platform for cloud applications. 

Wagner has been driving the cloud transformation of Swisscom in various roles, in both its Telco and IT divisions. Since 2015, he has led the organisation in charge of development and operation of all IaaS, PaaS, Middleware and Database products in Swisscom’s Cloud Portfolio, including Cloud Foundry.

Cloud Foundry Foundation is home to a family of open source projects including Cloud Foundry Application Runtime, Cloud Foundry Container Runtime and Cloud Foundry BOSH.

In September, Swisscom introduced two new cloud products and updated its cloud strategy.
