The ATP 250 event is played on an indoor hard court and gives players a chance to get some competitive tennis after the Australian Open.

It is based in Montpellier and, while Richard Gasquet holds a strong hold over it, youngster Alexander Zverez won it last year.

This year’s events sees some big names involved including David Goffin, Jo-Wilfried Tsonga, Gasquet and Andrey Rublev - but David Ferrer crashed out in the first round.
