Senior journalist V M Sathish, who had worked for many leading English newspapers in the Gulf countries for over two decades, died at a hospital in Ajman, his family members said here today. Sathish, 54, is survived by wife and two children. He suffered a heart attack while visiting the UAE on a visiting visa. Sathish was rushed to a hospital in Ajman where he underwent an emergency surgery.
However, his condition worsened and died yesterday night. Sathish had been running digital news portals back in Kerala after quitting his journalism career in the Gulf countries two years ago. His body will be brought to Kottayam tomorrow morning.
