Udaan starts with Imli lashing out at Suraj (Vijayendra Kumeria) for entering the room after she asked him not to. Suraj asks Imli to tell him what the truth is as he is very worried, he says he remembers nothing yet he is tormented by the flashes of memories. Imli says that the truth is very bad and she just wanted to protect him from this. Imli agrees to tell Suraj the truth after he begs her to. Imli takes Kamal Narayan’s picture and says that this is his father. Suraj is shocked by this truth. Chakor (Meera Deosthale) on the other hand is wondering why Suraj is not here to meet her after getting confused from the part memories. Anju the spy girl walks in and tells Chakor that Suraj will not come as Imli has seen him entering the room. Anju tells Chakor that Imli has plotted a story and now Suraj will just see what Imli will want him to see in the room. Chakor worries what Imli will tell Suraj. Imli takes Suraj to the temple and tells him that Kamal Narayan was her deewan and that he was very loyal to her. (Also Read: Suraj unwillingly explores his past guided by Chakor)
She says that she considered him a part of her own family. Imli says that she remembers Kamalji when she sees Suraj. Imli says that later Chakor entered the haveli and took away all the happiness from this haveli. Imli says that Chakor wanted to take away the power from her and so she killed Kamal Narayan for it. Suraj is troubled by this information. Chakor is left frustrated as she did not think about Imli can do this. Chakor though is sure that Suraj will not listen to Imli. Chakor decides to go and talk to Suraj before Imli manipulates him. Suraj refuses to accept the fact that Chakor can kill someone. Imli takes him to the place where Chakor had burnt Kamal Narayan. Chakor tries to run and talk to Suraj but Paakhi stops him saying Suraj can do anything with her. Imli shows Suraj all the newspaper clippings with the news of Kamal Narayan’s death. Imli keeps instigating him as he goes through the clippings. Suraj loses it finally. Imli vows that whatever she said is about Kamal Narayan’s death is true. Suraj seeks forgiveness of Imli and hurts himself for not trusting Imli. Imli asks Suraj to kill Chakor as she is just trying to drive Suraj mad.
