Buckle up, NBA fans!

The countdown to the Thursday, February 8, 2018 NBA trade deadline is here. As NBA teams attempt to make transactions up until the 3 p.m. deadline on Feb. 8, big names could be moved.

How crazy could this deadline get? Teams have done due diligence on LeBron James waiving his no-trade clause to leave the Cleveland Cavaliers in a blockbuster.

From Clippers' stars DeAndre Jordan and Lou Williams to Grizzlies scorer Tyreke Evans, there's no shortage of complementary players that can be moved to help a playoff push.

After shipping out Tyler Zeller, what's the next order of business for the Nets in Brooklyn? Can the team continue to try to find undervalued assets that can assist in a long-term rebuild in the Atlantic Division?

At Madison Square Garden, the Knicks are a wild card as this year's deadline approaches. While it would be prudent for the Knicks to sell off parts like, say, Kyle O'Quinn and Jarrett Jack, it's hard to predict how owner James Dolan will approach things, especially after dealing away last year's star rookie Willy Hernangomez.

For the Sixers, the deadline could be the difference between making the playoffs or missing out again despite big-time production from a healthy Joel Embiid and emerging Ben Simmons. Will the front office surrender serious future draft capital for a win-now veteran or hold on for the future?

Here's all the latest news, notes and rumors around the NBA.
