Jaiprakash Power Ventures Ltd (JPVL) said today that its standalone net loss widened to Rs 194.41 crore in the December quarter of the current fiscal. The company's standalone net loss was Rs 172.96 crore in the October-December period of last fiscal, 2016-17. JPVL said in a BSE filing that its total revenue however increased to Rs 970.17 crore in the third quarter (Q3) of 2017-18, from Rs 723.58 crore in the year-ago period. For the first nine months of the current fiscal, the company's standalone net loss narrowed to Rs 369.98 crore from Rs 530.79 crore. The revenue of the company the April-December period was Rs 3,013.41 crore, compared to Rs 2,179.44 in the 9-month period of last fiscal. The company had reported a standalone net loss of Rs 760.61 crore for the entire 2016-17.
