The Winter Olympics start this week, and they're going to be wreaking havoc on the regular TV schedule until the closing ceremony on Sunday, Feb. 25. NBC and its cable networks will be wall-to-wall Olympics coverage, and many other networks know they can't compete against the Games so they're putting a lot of their regular programming on hold and taking the opportunity to try out some other stuff. This is your guide to the best of the other stuff, in case watching luge isn't your thing.

Bachelor franchise favorites will be doing their own version of the Olympics for four episodes from Tuesday, Feb. 13 to Thursday, Feb. 22. American Bachelor alumni will compete against contestants from the show's international editions in winter sports... and also drink and cry and hook up. This is The Bachelor, after all. Plus, Arie's season of The Bachelor will continue as scheduled. So that's six hours of Bachelor for those two weeks. If you're a citizen of Bachelor Nation, have your passport ready.

No new episodes of The Blacklist or This Is Us means your evenings are free to catch up on Netflix shows you've been meaning to get to, like sci-fi blockbuster Altered Carbon, brain-buzzingly depressing anthology series Black Mirror or lovely family comedy One Day at a Time. You could binge all seven seasons of Sons of Anarchy. You could watch a different Netflix Original movie every night. You could watch The Babadook 18 times. The possibilities are endless. This list of what's new on Netflix this month is a good place to start narrowing it down.

Hallmark Valentine's Day movies
The Hallmark Channel has three Valentine's Day movies this year. My Secret Valentine premiered on Feb. 3, but there are two new ones coming out: Very, Very Valentine with Danica McKellar and Cameron Mathison on Saturday, Feb. 10 and Cooking with Love with Ali Liebert and Brett Dalton on Sunday, Feb. 11. Hallmark movies are the opposite of sports.

ER's complete series is now on Hulu, so you could spend your evenings falling down that rabbit hole. There are 331 episodes, so you'll never run out of stuff to watch. If you just want to watch the highlights, start with "Hell or High Water," our personal favorite. Or you could catch up on any number of currently-airing shows, like Lucifer, Nashville, Brooklyn Nine-Nine or Hulu's own The Path.
There's no shortage of possibilities for stuff to watch besides the Olympics. You may find yourself watching the Olympics to avoid having to make a choice about what to watch instead of the Olympics.
