GoFundMe Accounts Set Up To Help Out Family Of Fire Victim
We are learning more about a deadly weekend fire. and the little girl who lost her life.
Riley Meyer was a third grade student at Central Lyon School. Her family tells us she loved everyone, especially her sisters and brothers.
They say they'll always remember her bubbly personality and that she was always smiling.
Even when she was frustrated or upset, it never took long for that smile to return to her face.
She died early Sunday at her home in George, Iowa.
Officials are still investigating the exact cause, but they do know where it started. The State Fire Marshal's office says the fire likely began in an enclosed porch on the back of the house. They do not believe it's suspicious.
As soon as people heard about the fire, they wanted to help.
