Ben Simmons denied spot on all-star team once again as Kemba Walker gets nod

Kemba Walker was named as the injury replacement for LeBron’s NBA All-Star Game team, once again leaving Sixers rookie Ben Simmons off the team.

The Hornets point guard replaces Knicks big man Kristaps Porzingis, who tore his ACL on Tuesday.

This was Simmons’ third time being denied a spot after an injury to a member of LeBron’s squad. DeMarcus Cousins was replaced by Andre Drummond, then Kevin Love was replaced by Miami guard Goran Dragic.

Since Simmons has comparable stats with the replacements, the rookie’s native Australia, including a government official, have questioned NBA commissioner Adam Silver’s decision.
