Kalink Co hikes stake in Steel Strips Wheels

Steel Strips Wheels on Thursday said that Kalink Co had informed the company that it had acquired 59,750 (0.38 per cent stake) equity shares and 13,015 shares in November 2017 and 46,735 shares in January 2018 of the company through open market purchases under foreign portfolio investment. Besides, Kalink has been holding 2,09,525 shares in the company, subscribed under foreign direct investment in 2016. Following these disclosures, Kalink Co’s holding stands at 2,69,275 equity shares (or 1.73 per cent) in the company till date. Shares of Steel Strips Wheels closed at ₹1,055.10 on the NSE, a gain of 7.11 per cent, over the previous day’s close.
