Geauga GOP hosting Republican Leadership Initiative

The Geauga County Republican Party is inviting the public to some specialized training that the Republican National Committee is conducting called the Republican Leadership Initiative.

The purpose is to more effectively organize at all levels, especially at the local level to prepare the next generation of community activists, candidates, and volunteers, according to a news release. Participants will receive training in cutting-edge campaign technology, leadership skills, and building a volunteer network.

The training sessions will be held on two different dates and at these locations:

• Feb. 10 at 10:30 a.m. at Burton Library, 14588 W. Park St.

• Feb. 15 at 6 p.m. at Heritage House on Chardon Square.
